    Originally brought in to architect the front-end, I have had an effect on the entire codebase. From crafting a website server-side rendering Vue UI components or multiple scoring and recommendation engines, I have been the entire LeapLife experience.

    • Architected Vue + Nuxt server-side rendered front-end web app utilizing common UI component best practices, integrating our Node backend.
    • Integrated third-party API to offer our UI experience to users in all 50 states, answering questions then generating, filling, and signing PDFs.
    • Built recommendation engine to offer users honest, customized quotes.
    • Developed dynamic underwriting and scoring engine as users progress through the online application experience.
    • Created dynamic question generator engine, a common UI experience, and PDF-filling services to digitize an online experience for multiple companies.
    • Acted as Project Manager for off-shore team to extend our lineup of companies.
    • Worked with marketing and partners to supply recommended quotes as API.

    Following the purchase of ToutApp by Marketo, ToutApp operated as a separate entity within Marketo. We continued to maintain our own codebase and website. I was the lead front-end engineer, who beyond my normal scope of work was responsible for code structure, coding standards, and architecture decisions as we integrated Marketo styling, added teams in Ukraine & India, and internationalized our application in five languages.

    • Continued the architecture and implementation of React + Redux front-end and common UI component library as ToutApp continued it's urban renewal strategy operating as separate codebase.
    • Concentrated five repositories into single mono repo structure to manage all code across main webapp, Gmail, OWA, internationalization, and UI component library.
    • ToutApp's repesentative for front-end architecture guild.
    • On-boarded three teams in Ukraine, managing coding efforts and maintaining high code quality standards.
    • Managed the internationalization effort by a third-party vendor that used our baked-in-from-the-start architecture choice to serve six languages.

    As one of the first-dedicated front-end engineers, I was responsible for architecting and implementing React within the legacy BackboneJS webapp. Originally brought in to architect the front-end, I have had an effect on the entire codebase. Proving out React in a complete Gmail Chrome extension re-write, a common UI component library allowed fast integration in an OWA extension before slowly replacing all features within the main webapp.

    • Architected and led adoption of React + Redux front-end and common UI component library.
    • Integrated React into Backbone legacy app as part of urban renewal strategy.
    • Built out developer tooling and maintained front-end repositories.
    • Wrote Chrome Extension in React which saw 1.9 million emails sent from Gmail, a 100% increase, within three months.
    • Proved out common components architecture by creating Outlook Web add-in.

    Upon joining Coyote Logistics as a general developer, I helped start the mobile development team as I had self-taught Android experience creating apps. After prototyping different frameworks, we settled on PhoneGap to allow our small team to develop cross-platform hybrid mobile apps for both Android and IOS. Alongside our mobile work, our team worked on features for the main webapp built using Backbone and Handlebars on the front-end with C# and .NET on the back-end.

    • Led full stack development of CoyoteGO, a hybrid mobile check-in application for commercial drivers to find and manage loads, which cut call volume by 14%.
    • Took the initative to prototype an employee mobile app in my free time using Ionic and Angular, eventually becoming BazookaMobile.
